Volunteers

Whether you’re an upcoming musician looking for experience in the industry, interested in events and seeing how things happen behind the scenes, or passionate about Edinburgh’s music scene and wanting to see it thrive, we’ll try our best to find a volunteer role that can fit what you’re curious about.

Edinburgh Jam Group is a volunteer led charity that focuses on improving musicians and industry professionals knowledge, experience and overall well-being in Edinburgh. We have different elements that we need your help with to make the Edinburgh Jam Group community the best that it can be. We’ve been formalised since 2021 and are looking for ways to make this year bigger and better than all those before it.

Time Commitment

This differs depending on the role and also the specific event. Larger events will need some time needed in the run up to ensure everyone is on the same page and the event is the best it possibly can be, whereas smaller events may just be a few hours to double check certain elements. If you are helping with an event, we will need you to stay for the entire event to help with set up and close up.
